What to Expect

When first coming into Wildflower Veterinary Services you will notice the clean facility and be greeted by the doctor and staff. You will need to provide your pets vaccine, deworming, and medical history so that our staff will be able to better understand your pet's unique needs. If you have no past medical history for your pet, describe to our doctors what you do know about your pet's past and present - they will be able to use that information also to help with their examination and recommendations.

Our doctors will then give your pet a physical examination, and any concerns will be addressed. Upon examination, the doctor may advise dental cleanings, laboratory evaluation, vaccinations, deworming, or other procedures that your animal may need in the future.

In some circumstances, Dr. Gillette or Dr. Libra will refer you and your pet to a specialist who has advanced expertise, in areas such as internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, or surgery.

If your animal is being brought in for surgery, you can be confident that your animal will be under the best of care. Our staff monitor your pet throughout its stay to ensure that everything goes smoothly and your pet will be ready to go home by the end of the day.

Be assured that when you enter our clinic your pet will receive the best care possible. We strive to prolong the lives of our four-legged family members and do the best we can to help you achieve this with your pet. Be reminded that it is important for your pet to have a full physical examination at least annually for booster vaccinations, intestinal parasite screening, and to ensure that your pet is living the most healthy life possible.  Much the same as ourselves, our animals' health can change quite quickly.
